Mom holding baby

Are you expecting?

Postpartum support is focused on the individual needs of mom and baby during this transitional period but also extends to the rest of the family, and to other tasks that are required to successfully run a household.

The intention is to support expectant mothers by providing compassionate companionship, physical, and emotional support through the evolution of their unique birthing experience.

It is essential to have support during the postpartum period for optimal functioning, as well as healing following the birth of a new baby - this time can often be just as chaotic and stressful as it is exciting and special. The goal is to create the smoothest transition possible, from before the baby to after.

Registered Nurse, Postpartum Doula, and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist currently serving families in Calgary and the surrounding areas, including Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Crossfield, and Carstairs.

"We know that women who experience support from their

family members, care providers, counselors and peer groups have greater breastfeeding success, greater, self-confidence, less postpartum depression and a lower incidence

of abuse than those who do not.”
